I know, I know, everyone says this - but it works if you know what your doing. If you need help designing go to Youtube and search "Girlsense" or go to the Girlsense Tutorials Sticky imastar4u12 made.
After you make your well designed item, put it on sale. If you made a copy of the item you designed, you must put it for more than 150 gcents if you want to want to make any profit.
HAVE AUCTIONS:
If you have auctions, you can a hundred or so more gcents than you asked for. But if you get lucky, people will start a bidding war. Thats when people bid back-and-forth for an item, and it usually is one of the hottest auctions on the Market page. But this happens rarely unless you are a very popular member, sadly. >.<
PLAY GAMES:
There is 2 games that reward with G-Cents: Bad Hair Day and More Bloons. Bad Hair day doesn't give nearly as much G-Cents, so I suggest doing More Bloons.

You really only need to watch from 0:12 to 0:23. Just click "REPLAY LEVEL" once you finish the level. I get through that level within around 3 seconds (from the time I start to the time I click REPLAY LEVEL) and I get 10 gcents a level. So in a minute, I get 200 gcents a minute if I calculated correctly. I think this is one of the fastest ways to get gcents!
MAKING EXTRA ACCOUNTS

I don't suggest this method, because I felt guilty after I did it... But it may work for some people. *shrug*
CUSTOMS
If you sell customs, you make fashions based on a picture or description given by the customer. But most people won't ask you for a custom unless you are a pretty good designer. :\
CONTESTS
Contests are usually held in boutiques, but you can find them in the Official contests section on the homepage, too. You can win anything from 100-100,000 gcents, free custom(s), or other misc. things. But contests are a gamble - you either spend a ton of time on an item and lose, or you walk away with maximum g-cents. If you want to find a good contest to enter, TheContestCorner has contests weekly and you could earn 500-2000 if you win. (Prize depends on what place you get.)
